Last Thursday, 8th January, I had the first meeting of the year with Beng Lee, Ooi and Yuk Kiem where had the opportunity to clarify the key areas of focus as well as more clearly defining my scope of responsibility.
Really grateful for the added overall clarity and I thought it is something worth sharing for full transparency but more importantly, accountability.

Getting into a healthy rhythm
To be honest, I'm not a very structured person and I don't particularly thrive under rigid structures. That being said, I believe having a little structure goes a long way in helping instill the right habits and discipline.
Unfortunately, it's been a challenge getting into a rhythm with the travelling back to Penang to attend my grandma's funeral still slightly unwell since the New Year's.
Nevertheless, the following is my new morning routine over the past week which I've found to be quite refreshing and I plan to keep at it.
| 6:30 - 7:00am | Feeding the baby |
| 7:00 - 7:15am | Light exercise (lifting weights) |
| 7:15 - 7:45am | Shower and prepare to head out |
| 7:45 - 8:00am | Head to a coffee place (Kenangan / Zus / McCafe) |
| 8:00 - 12:00pm | Reading the Bible, Praying, Scripture Memory, Preparing content for upcoming meetings with people, Replying Emails / Whatsapp |
| 12:00 - 1:00pm | Takeaway lunch for wife and self |
We'll officially start sending Chen Xi to a nanny on 13th Jan and Jen Ni will return to work on 19th Jan.
Once we start sending Chen Xi to a nanny, I'll have more time and flexibility to travel onto campus and more.
