Transitioning to Our New Chapter

Hi everyone, it’s officially 1 January 2026, which means I have officially stepped into a new chapter serving full-time with The Navigators Malaysia. First and foremost, I want to thank all of you who pledged so generously in support of this transition. It means a lot to Jen Ni and me; your support truly frees up our headspace, allowing us to worry less about finances and focus more on how God is calling us to serve. Chinese New Year Eve Dinner at Pullman Hotel - Paid by my younger sister. 恭喜发财! Wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year! It's been a while since my last update, so I thought this would be the perfect time to share one. Life Updates: 1. Jen Ni has officially returned to work and is adjusting well overall. Amidst some messy office politics, Jen Ni is still awaiting confirmation for her role and remains on probation, which was partially extended due to her maternity leave. Nevertheless, we are trusting God together through this process. Instead of getting caught up in the strategic steps needed to secure her position, we are focusing on the question, 'What does it mean to do good work before God?' and leaving the rest in His hands. 2. X'mas Party 2025

How it started... We took a slightly different approach to our Christmas party arrangements this year. Instead of each group hosting their own separate gathering, we decided to collaborate and host one big celebration for everyone. The idea actually started with Cheng En and Cheryl. While they were planning their own party, they reached out to see if the UM team had anything in the works and if we’d be interested in joining forces. The idea quickly took off! We held our first planning meeting on 24 November 2025, and it was wonderful to see how quickly things fell into place. We formed small teams for the different tasks and everyone jumped in to help bring the vision to life.
